By Dave Fogel

In honor of Neil Diamond coming to the United Center for his 50th Anniversary Tour this coming May, I┬ádecided to put up Diamond’s second #1 hit, 1972’s “Songs Sung Blue.”

Not only was the song a hit in the stores and on the radio, but it did pretty well, nomination wise, at that year’s Grammy Awards too.

It picked up nominations for Song and Record of The Year!

Now that you know Diamond’s second #1 hit, do you have any idea what the first was?

If you guessed “Sweet Caroline”, you’d be wrong!

It was actually “Cracklin’ Rosie” that topped the charts first!

You’ll want to listen to me, Dave Fogel, in the 7 AM hour every day this week if you want to see Neil Diamond live.

He’s performing at the United Center on May 28th and I’ve got tickets for you to call in and win all this week.

Good luck!
