George Harrison believed his birthday was February 25th for many years.  He was in his 40s when he discovered that he was actually born on the 24th of February at 11:42 PM.

After the Beatles broke up in 1970, George was the first of them to have a #1 hit (My Sweet Lord) as a solo artist.

George would have 2 more chart toppers and a total of 16 hit singles during his post-Beatles career.

His album Thirty Three & 1/3 was released in 1976. The second single from that album would peak at #19 on the American music charts.

Accompanying the single was this promotional film directed by Monty Python’s Eric Idle.  Look for George’s future wife Olivia Arias as well as John Cleese in Crackerbox Palace
