“Wednesday, such a groovy Wednesday….Wednesday, or any day for you…”

There’s not a whole lotta songs that feature the word Wednesday in the title.

In fact, I could only think of two.

There’s this one by The Royal Guardsmen that came out in 1967 and “Waiting For Wednesday” by Lisa Loeb.

Both of these songs are the only Wednesday songs that even charted in Billboard’s Hot 100.

This Royal Guardsmen hardly even made it with this one, checking in at #97 as it’s peak position.

If the name Royal Guardsmen sounds familiar, they’re responsible for the hit novelty song “Snoopy vs. The Red Baron” that came out in 1966.
