Did you know that Bob Seger went to high school in Lincoln Park?

No, not the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago, but Lincoln Park High School in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

“Rock and Roll Never Forgets” was the lead track on Seger’s 1976 “Night Moves” album.

Bob Seger was just 31 when he wrote this track after hearing about an upcoming high school reunion.

BTW-Seger will turn 72 in just a couple of weeks on May 6th.

The “Night Moves” album featured a whole bunch of hits besides this one.

This album also featured “Mainstreet” and “Night Moves.”

Maybe that’s why the album went 6x’s plantinum, which means it’s sold over six million copies!

Here’s some video of Bob Seger and The Sliver Bullet Band performing “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” at the United Center a couple of years back.
