When it comes to bands from Scotland, there is only one that I can think of.

That’s the song “Magic” by Scottish pop group Magic.

The song was the group only major hit, peaking at #5 on the Billboard charts back in the summer of 1975.

It was featured on the album (and I love this title!) ‘From The Album Of The Same Name.”

It’s interesting to note that Alan Parson was the producer behind this track.

If that name sounds familiar, it’s because Parson worked with several major groups, including The Beatles, and even released his own music as well.

Remember “Eye In The Sky” by The Alan Parson Project? Yep, that’s the same guy too!

It’s funny but I even came across this “Magic”¬†while flipping through the channels awhile back.

But it wasn’t Pilot that was performing it.

Instead, it was pop star Selena Gomez performing it on “The Wizards of Waverly Place” on The Disney Channel!

I guess eventually everything that’s old is new again!
