I’m all for a beer, even more so if it’s helping someone out!

In this case, that someone is the polar bears at Lincoln Park Zoo!

I’m happy I saw this on Channel 7 last night because now I have an excuse to check out Craft Beer Week in a couple of weeks! (Not that I needed an excuse LOL!)

Lincoln Park Zoo is hooking up with DryHop Brewers to make “Ursus Mapletimus.”

Sounds fancy doesn’t it?

Apparently it’s a smoked maple imperial white ale.

You can buy the stuff at the DryHop on North Broadway starting on May 24th.

Now here’s the cool part.  When a pint is sold, a dollar is donated to help the polar bears at Lincoln Park Zoo!

How about that?  Drink a beer and help animals and the environment!

I could have really done a lot of that kind of charity if they’d introduced this when I was in college!
