Not so long ago there were five Mexican Gray Wolves born at the Brookfield Zoo.

A press release announced that it was one girl and three boys, but fairly soon, two of those wolves will be going to live with new families.

Brookfield Zoo is part of a cross fostering program, which means two pups will head to New Mexico to join a pack and two others will be brought here to join ours!

So the Zoo will still end up with five pups when all is said and done I guess…

So far the pups haven’t made their way out of their dens so that the public can see them.

Speaking of this cross fostering thing, I have to wonder if that’s what happened with my daughter!

They switched out my real kid with one from a wild pack.

(If my daughter is reading this, you know I’m kidding, right?)
