The Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo is a cancer survivor, so it’s no surprise he did something like this!
He donated $3 million to Lurie Children’s Hospital and cut the ribbon on a new waiting room named after him yesterday.
He even teared up during all this, which you can see in this CBS 2 report:
While there were cameras there yesterday, Rizzo often visits when camera aren’t there.
I think that even a South Side White Sox fan would agree that he’s just an awesome human being.
Speaking of the Cubs, they beat the Pirates 4 to 1 last night!
I had such good seats that I even made it on to TV along with Mrs. Fogel!
