What happens before NFL games seems to be more newsworthy than what happens during games lately.
The Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers faced off in Thursday Night Football last night across the Cheddar Curtain.
The Bears players did what they did last Sunday at Lambeau Field and locked arms as a show of unity.
In case you forget, many in the NFL weren’t happy about President Trump’s comments about how he thought team owners should fire players that take a knee during the anthem.
As for the actual game…it went pretty much the way I expected.
The Pack crushed the Bears 35 to 14.
But at least no one took a knee for the National Anthem.
In some ways that’s a win for me…
