While the title of this Simon and Garfunkel sounds like a song about spring, a closer look at the lyrics shows that it’s really about the fall!

“And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they whither with the wind
And they crumble in your hand…”

Not the most positive spin on Fall is it?

But once you hear all the cool harmonies and chord changes, do you realize what a cool song it really is!

“Leaves That Are Green” is off of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Sounds of Silence” which has become one of the duos best known albums.
