The Chicago Cubs and the Washington Nationals were supposed to take the field yesterday afternoon at 4:30, but Mother Nature had other plans.

I thought there might be a chance the game was going to be played when I heard that the Cubs were taking batting practice, but not long after that the grounds crew rolled out the tarp.

It started raining around 4 PM and it seemed like a no brainer that they weren’t going to get the game in that was supposed to start a half an hour later.

Game 4 will now be at 3:08 PM today which is cool because Jake Arietta had an extra day to heel up his hamstring that’s been bothering him.

The Cubs are leading the NL Division series 2 games to one in the best of five series.
