Considering today is Friday The 13th, this only seems appropriate…

“Friday The 13th: The Series” was a syndicated series that ran from 1987 until 1990, but has no connection to the films of the same name.

So, how was this series named “Friday The 13th” but it had no connection to the films featuring Jason Vorhees?

Well, the show was originally going to be called “The 13th Hour” but producers decided to call it “Friday The 13th: The Series” to try and get more people to watch.

So, if there was no Jason, who was there?

The series was actually about a couple that’s trying to recover ursed antiques and place them in a vault at the store they own.

Doesn’t sound all that scary, does it?
