Yesterday was the last flight for United Airlines Boeing 747 airplane.

The airplanes have been around since the early 70’s which means that at almost 50 years old, they’re ready for retirement.

The 747 took off from O’Hare yesterday on an retirement tour of sorts with a bunch of different United employees and retirees on board.

It took a two and half hour flight yesterday and I guess they’re doing the same thing in other cities as well.

I dunno, a plane that’s 50 years old doesn’t sound like a great idea for a joyride in!

I’ll take a new one instead thank you!
