It’s been getting cold out there, so this couldn’t have come at a better time!
The Chicago Housing Authority has a program that they call Operation Warm that hands out winter coats to people that need them.
In fact this past weekend, they handed out over 9,000 of them.
So just where did the money come from to get these jackets?
Officials from the CHA were on the news last night and said that a lot of the money came from corporate donations.
