Chicago’s official Christmas Tree isn’t from actually from Chicago…..it’s from Grayslake!

The Chicago Tribune says the 62 foot Norway Spruce is in the yard of Darlene Dorfler and will be cut down and shipped to Millennium Park over the next couple of weeks.

Darlene will even be the ones to flip the switch at the tree lighting ceremony in a couple of weeks!

Plus, they get to hang out with Santa Claus as well.

If you’re thinking about coming down for the ceremony….it’s at 6 PM o Friday November 17th in Millennium Park.
