Ever heard of distracted walking?

That’s when people are crossing the street, no paying a bit of attention to whats going on because their eyes are glued to their phones!

Well, some Chicago alderman want to make that illegal!

The Chicago Sun Times says the alderman want to introduce an ordinance that would fine people for being on their phone while walking through an intersection.

It be pretty costly too!

Anywhere between $90 and $500 bucks! Wow!

The City Council would have to give it the thumbs up for it to become official though.

So, I’ve gotta ask the question, is this really about our safety or another way the city is looking to take our money!

Huh, what do you think?
