Let’s talk about cruise baby!
We were so busy jamming along to our throwback playlist, we totally snoozed on the perfect vacation.
90s-themed “Ship-Hop” Caribbean Cruise set sail today aboard the Carnival Sensation for a 4-day throwback event from Miami to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico.
And yes, it’s described as pure and golden ’90s nostalgia!
Instead of retreating back to the mixtapes, those aboard the “I Love the 90s'” ship were able to jam out with the artists themselves.
The lineup included Salt-n-Pepa, Vanilla Ice, Naughty by Nature, Coolio, and Sisqo and more other iconic ’90s artists.
Basically, guests can relax, bask in the sun and take pics/party with their favorite ’90s Hip-Hop and R&B.
I’m experiencing some serious FOMO right now.
Themed nights include “My So-Called Prom,” which will be filled with terrible updos, vibrant glitter eyeshadow, and people doing the Roger Rabbit and Running Man. And who could forget the Hammer?
Other events include “Rep Your Roots,” which encourages shippers to “hype your hood and wear your pride on the outside,” and T.G.I.F, which throws back to classics like Full House, Family Matters and Saved by the Bell.
You can even win a date with Salt. The description literally reads, “Salt’s single and ready to mingle! Whatta Man will get her attention? With host Pepa at her side, she’ll choose between 3 lucky bachelors for an on board date.”
Literally, how did we miss this?
Let’s pray to the ’90s gods that this isn’t a one-off occurrence and we can all board a “Ship Hop” cruise in the near future.
