50th Anniversary Of Deadly Oak Lawn Tornado
On April 21, 1967, a thick, black, deadly tornado ripped through southwest suburban Oak Lawn, killing 33 people. At least 10 twisters hit northern Illinois that day, leaving a total of 58 people dead.
