It only took 20 years, but Lil Wayne is finally free from Cash Money.

Wayne’s lawyer said yesterday that they reached a settlement with the label, and now he owns ALL rights to himself and his music.

The legal battle with Cash Money Records began back in 2014 when Wayne’s album “Tha Carter V” would not be released by Birdman. It was also claimed that Birdman witheld money from the rapper. He filed a 40-million-dollar lawsuit in order to be free from the label, and walked away with a little over 10 million.

We look forward to hearing "Tha Carter V" album if it's ever released.
