Has justice been served in the case of 30-year-old Cyntoia Brown? After much advocating from protest groups and big-wig celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jada Pinkett-Smith to release Cyntoia Brown because of a "too harsh sentencing," Tennessee Govenor Bill Haslam granted Brown clemency on Monday.

Cyntoia Brown was convicted and tried as an adult at only 16 years old after killing a man, whom she admitted to murdering following being involved in a sex trafficking ring. According to media outlets, Brown was granted a full commutation to parole. She will be eligible for release on Aug. 7 after serving 15 years in prison and will remain on parole for 10 years.

But Ed Lover poses a harsh, but honest question to his co-host, Jen B-T: What if it was your father who Cyntoia admitted she killed? Do you think she served enough time?

Gov. Haslam released the below statement:

"Cyntoia Brown committed, by her own admission, a horrific crime at the age of 16...et, imposing a life sentence on a juvenile that would require her to serve at least 51 years before even being eligible for parole consideration is too harsh, especially in light of the extraordinary steps Ms. Brown has taken to rebuild her life."
