One of the first stops that Ed Lover made as soon as he touched down at his new home here in Chicago was straight to Wrigleyville to his first Cubs game and he knew right then and there: I've found my new home! From throwing out the first pitch, to demolishing poppy-seed hot dogs and cookie dough in The Score's suite, Ed's grown a love for the Chicago Cubs that seems like it blossomed overnight. So when he found out that former Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood wanted to talk to him about his 8th annual "Woody's Winter Warm Up," it was a great day in the studio! Check out their interview below. 

WHO: Former Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood to kick off Cubs Convention Weekend with 8th Annual “Woody’s Winter Warm-Up”

WHAT: Now in its 8th year, the Warm-Up has become a staple for baseball fans during Cubs convention weekend.  Over 500+ guests are expected to be in attendance, along with some of Wood’s celebrity friends, former/current Cubs players and Chicago media personalities who will get behind the bar to serve drinks to fans while competing for tips.  The evening will also feature musical performances by Suburban Cowboys, food stations, premium open-bar, raffles, and live & silent auctions.

Oh yea - our brothers over at US99’s Stylz & Roman will Emcee the night, along with the homie Jim Miller, serving as the LIVE auctioneer.
